I imported a brand new machine from China worth Rs. seven lacs for my business.
The custom officers insist that the machine is secondhand. No argument is good with them.
What is the maximum damages for me? What are the laws and notifications concerning this matter?
Matter is pending and Port dammurages are running high.

Under tha Maharashtra Co-op. Societies Act,1960 is it necessary that a member cannot be co-opted on the Board if the term of the Board left is 1 year or less.If yes where are the provisions.

Dear Professionals please suggest the following case.
Mr.Rajan and Mrs. Pooja are husband and wife. Mrs. Pooja is wife of Mr.Rajan.
Mrs. Pooja's father is Mr. Jagan. i.e. Mrs. pooja daughter of Mr. Jagan. Mr. Jagan have six children, 3 sons and 3 girls. Mr. Jagan have lot of properties. He like transfer 100% of property transfer to his 3 sons only 0.01% of property transfer to His daughters. because he said all the property earned (yield) by himself. Mrs. pooja's wants to claim equal right in property .
any provisions or mrs. pooja can claim the property under which law, sec. and any other provisions avial in law

I am presently staying at my father's house with my wife. My father is coming every now and thern with his mother and married threating me to throw me away from his house where am staying if I allow my inlaws to come and stay at his house and use his beonging and treat and behave well with them with my own earnings since I have got job at his refernce .
This is causing taruma, insult and mental harassment and immense misunderstanding in our relation. if there any action that can be initiated against him. Plz help and advice

I am one of the co-owner in a self accquired property of my faher. The same has recently sold off Being the legal co-owner a cheque has been issued by purchaser in my favour too in a joint account with my mother. My father has recently transfer cheque amount in a jointly account he is having with my mother without intimation to me. Actually he has used a signed checked issued in goood faith to him Sir, How will I claim for the same as he is refusing to give and secondly I have never invested a peny while purchasing the said property in question.
