hi , i do have a query here regarding succession certificate . I do have my residence in Lucknow city . My parents have passed away and i have no sibling , thus one and only legal heir of the all property . I want to know the procedure of applying for succession certificate(someone told me that court takes 3% of total cost of house as fees). I have already registered my name in Nagar Nigam for the purpose of house tax(will this only suffice if in future i want to dispose my house ? ).

Dear sir,
My father-in law buy a home in 2005 from third person. I myself paid money to the third person on behalf of my father in law and some money to the builder which I have bank statement proff. being to some dispute between me and in-laws I personally request via letter to return my money but my father in law refuse to pay back on basis that I never paid money to him self and send me the notice via adv. not to send him for money request again. what action I can take against him now it is past almost 5-6 years. my father in law reg. the house by himself name.
Pl. advise me.
Cash payment
Is it safe to pay through cash as booking amount, although the builder is reday to give money receipt.
