We bought a flat in chennai and we have registered the house under my name and husband's name. Actually my age is 28 years and my husband's age in 37 years. But in sale deed my age has been wrongly mentioned as 38 years. Kindly let me know the procedure to change my age as 28 years in sale deed.Pls let me know whether there would be any problems in future (Income Tax) due to this wrong age entry in sale deed.
And also after registration we have received only sale deed we have not received the sale agreement or its xerox. Pls let me know when will get the sale agreement.
Awaiting your reply at the earliest.
my father is a lessee of a plot of land in mumbai with his name on the property card and this fact came to be known after his death in sept 2009 and we got in touch with the person whom he had given a power of attorney and he explained to us the problems and has asked us to become legal heirs so that matters in court could be proceeded with as there is another party having a sale deed and has done some construction on the plot ,
my first question is how does one become legal heir we were four brothers and one sister on emy elder brother passed away in july 2011
secondly my father has signed as Jagjit singh Arora as director of a firm thru which he was a regd lessee now since his death two years have passed how and where do i start from
the original property card is with the POA holder and since he claims to have spent some money he wants to be a part of the deal , the lease agreement is from 1976 for 99 years, pls advise and help
thks in advance looking forward to a reply

A joint family consist of father, one son and one married daughter all are resident of New Delhi (total land 6000 squire feet). The property is joint but neither father nor son agree to handover the share of daughter stating that since daughter is married prior to New Amendment brought in the year 2005 therefore she is not entitled for share in joint Hindu family.Kindly told me the exact law of land. Further what are the exact share of daughter in the facts of this case.
