My mother in law owns a CIDCO apartment property in Navi Mumbai. She wants the property to be transferred to her daughter's (my wife) name post her death provided we payout my wife's brother's share in the property now.
My question is:
1. Can the transfer be effected (post her death) by way of including my wife as a assiciate member of the society and also as a nominee.
2. Is it neccessary for her to make a will in my wife's favor.
3. Is there any document which I need to take from my brother in law in which he relinquishes his rights.
4. Is there any better way to work out this arrangement
Thanks

Sir,
My grandma executed a will favouring my father and mother equally for a land which is situated in chennai and duly registered in my her name.
Now my grandma and father is no more and my doubts are as follows
1. My mother is now getting 1/2 share through my grandma's will and some share from my father's share.
2. Now my mother willing to execute her entire share by will favoring me.
3. whether my brother and sister can object legally.
4. Whether my mother's will is legally valid when property is registered under mu grandma's name

Dear Expert,
We are living in a house build on Plot of land.
The house is registered in our grand father's name.
My father has expired 10 year ago. They are six brother and sister's.
We have already paid the due amount of there share in early years, but unfortunately it was not recorded and property was not legally tfd in name of our father.
We are living in the house for over 30 years separately.
Please advice whether there is any course of action that house can be transferred in name of our brother, since our relations are not good with all of them and it has been over 20 years now and nobody has ever visited us.
Thanks.

The Municipality(converted to Corporation)had acquired the property of Agricultural land as per land acquisition proceeding as per LAQ-SR-139 dated 18-08-1960(as per KMC Act) Village/District Belgaum state Karnataka. but the purpose for Acquired is still not done.and the land is some persons are illegally sale through Rs 500/- bond from last 1980, and some persons are now build some houses, but the City Corporation Belgaum is not interfering in this matter but in Revenue record still our name is their 1) can we take back this land by law. 2)can we take action against the Corporation.
3)if Corporation had Acquired the land to develop the Belgaum city but they are sell the land through plots is it fit on law.

hello respective sir,
we have some ancestral properties.
Our grand father expired in June 1956 without any will. The property came to my father-in-law. He was his only son. My father-in-law has five children three sons and two daughters. My husband is his elder son his date of birth is in 1956.
MY query is that when my grand-father expired that time my mother-in-law was pregnant, means my husband was unborn.
Now my father-in-law passed away in June 2009 leaving a will all the properties two his only second share.
sir i want to know did my father-in-law have the right to do a will only to one of his son, because it was not his self acquired properties.
sir please guide me what should be the share of my husband one sixth or half because at the time of his grand father's death he in his mother womb. Some of the lawyers are saying that my husband can get half of the share because at the time of the death of his grand father my father came to life. so my father in law and my husband are 50% each share holders.
Now my brother in law is saying us to vacant the house. what should we do. We belong to Hindu religion.
sir i and my husband are in great need of your valuable advises soon.
regards

Share of married daughter on Agricultural Land
We have an ancestral property acquired by my great grand father, which is a large agricultural land in west UP in Aligarh.
My grand father has 3 childern – my father and 2 brothers. After my grand father died land transfer the all 3 brothers as joint property. My father and 1 Brother is also died. So. Agricultural land to their children with joint property. Since that agricultural land purchased with single account in joint property.
After my grand father died agricultural property can not divide and my father and 1 brother died but property can’t divide yet. My father died a accidental death 20 years back and has not left any will. My mother also died in 2009, After my father death that agricultural land transfer to my brother but not divide agricultural land. We are 4 sisters and 1 brothers.
According to UP ZA & LA Act. “ Class A Sakramaniya Bhumidhari” at lagan. It has been mentioned that as per ZA & LA act section No 171 there was no need of taking my consent for succession, as the succession automatically goes in favour of sons ( i.e my brothers)after my father death.
According to UP ZA & LA Act and Hindu succession act, What is the legal status of our rights (me and my 3 sister's rights) on this land? Can my brother alone dispose of this land to gain their money?
Many of told us that we sisters would have got equal rights if the ancestral property would have been residential, but we have no rights in it as it is an agricultural land
What is the status of law on this specially in UP? I presume the benefit of agricultural land to be distributed only in brothers (if at all there is one such rule, which i very much doubt) should be given only if they are going to use it for agriculture, isn't it?
Pls enlighten me
Sudha
My grand father have some ancestral and some self acquired property,he disposed off all the property in the name of two of his sons, left one son penniless, i want to know that what option have that (penniless)son now. please help me.
thanks

1. Is a lease agreement for an UNLIMITED-PERIOD legally enforceable for immovable-industrial-land?
(the word 'unlimited' is written in the deed instead of a specific number of years)
2. If the above lease is done in favor of a Partnership-Firm. And the firm dissolved as a result of death of both the partners 13 years back. Does the above lease agreement become VOID?
3. Under what circumstances can the Lessor gain back the right in the property?
I would really appreciate a genuine feedback to "ALL 3 Questions" separately from the lawyers on this forum. thank you :)
