I live in a house which was transfered in the name of my brother & mother upon the death of my father. It was purchased with my father's money and he died without a will. Six months ago, my mother passed away without leaving a will. Do i get a share in the house? Can my brother force me to leave the house?

Grandfather's house

My grandfather passed away interstate few years ago after he built a 3 floors house. My father paid the loan and died interstate as well. My father has only 1 brother and he is not interested in the house. The house is still in my grandfather's name. My mother and brother live in the house presently. We are two brothers and my mother wants to give one floor to my brother and two floors to me. What is the legal procedure to do so?

Buying a property

We have found an old house in Gobindapur owned by an old gentleman who lives with his wife. He wants us to pay 80% of the money as advance so that he can buy a flat, then he will stay on for 2 months and then register the sale deed after getting the balance 20%. Is it acceptable? What if he stays on after taking the advance from us?

Noc or sales deed for grand parents

Dear all,
We have a land in my father's name (he expired few yrs back) and as per the legal heir certificate my grand parents also can claim this property.
Since my grand father is nearing his 90's i couldn take him to the registrar. So the sales deed was completed after my mom and sis signed it.. When i tried to get a loan from bank... The legal officer wants the sales deed with my grand father's sign too...
My question is will a NOC from notary help this case..?
The register ofc is flooded with many pending registrations cos of some revision in land pricing...
Any new application would take minimum 45 days.

So am left with no option....
I have started the construction months back... and am out of fund ;my loan is also pending cos of this...

Please let me know how to proceed in this situation....

Society protecting the m. committee

does society give any indemnity to the committee for any disute / claim made unscrupulousely by the member of the soc.
the committee is working for the benefit of the soc. and its a thankless job. but one may find atleast one nut in every soc. who would create nuisance.
can society protect the committee, if found to be honest / reasonable from such person/s acting against them, (found to be unreasonale / dishonest) especially taking advantage of the indemnity bonds filed by the C.Members.
if yes then would request to share a draft of such supportive indemnity.

Right of transfer

We are 3 brothers and two sisters. During 1991 my father died while serving. My elder brother was then persuing B.SC. and my younger brother was then in school. I with consent of my mother and elder brother applied for service on "Rehabilitaiton assistance scheme" and continuing since 1993.
In the meanwhile my elder brother completed his B.Tech and now in a central Gvernment organisation. My younger brother also completed his B.Tech and self employed.
The main crux of the message is that a piece of land on posh area of Bhubaneswar was purchased by my father in my mothers' name during 1977 and a building was constructed with DCRG after ours fathers demise. In order to have better education facility for my son I had shifted my place of residence. Taking my absence as an oppertunity, my other two brothers pursuded my mother and get the land transferred in their name. I have been deprived of my right.
MY question is whether my mother is legally right to gift the land to her other sons . Whether there is any remedies available to me asper law.
Kindly help me.
With regards.
