Whether a certified copy is public documents? Can any person obtain certified copy legally by his/her name not being a party of that particular proceeding.

My Name is Valerian Vincent D'Souza and I am a resident of Mumbai, My father's Name is Peter Fermino D'Souza and my Grandfather's name was Diego Francis D'Souza. The Bombay Municipal Corporation has stated my father's name as Peter Diego D'Souza in my birth certificate, while in the birth certificate of my 4 younger brother's it is mentioned correctly as Peter Fermino D'Souza. I have asked the BMC to make a correction and now they have asked for documents after my parent's marriage and before my birth which we dont have. Even my parents marriage certificate where the names are correct is not being accepted. In goan Christians the second name is not the father's name unlike hindu names. After six months of following up and the case being even sent to central bmc office at Palton road, the BMC is now telling me to make a court order. My father is still alive. Is there a easier way of correcting my parents name in my birth certificate. Thanks. Valerian.

Can the date of birth be corrected in old issued passport it is due for renewal & what is the procedure. the person has travelled abroad on that old Passport

Dear Lawyers
Recently my Brother in Law passed away due to road accident & he had Two wheeler policy with Oreantal Insurance which was covered death of the owner.
We submitted all the necessary documents to Oreantal still Manager is told us to get the Vamsha Vruksha OR Legal Heair Certificate but they themselves are not sure which is required,
After talking to them they said consult any lawayer. Hence any body can giude me which one to get & how do i go about it.

Dear Sir,
I purchased a property in Maharashtra and got it registered.
There is no error in the registration document but the typist made an error in the Index II.
Now I want to get it corrected, can you please advise me the process?
Does it require a correction dead or a simple application can do?
Are both buyer and seller required to be present in registrar office for this correction?

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a flat made by Ghaziabad Development Authority from allotee and allotee have signed agreement to sell for this flat and agreement has notary only not been registered with court fee.
Can it is to be risky for me? can allotee take back this flat?
There is I have shown only Rs. 50,000/- as deposited by allotee to GDA 40,000/- and 10,000/- profit. Thereafter installments i shall deposit for 20 years, monthly.
Can it must be registered with court.

Sale Deed is registered without having signs of Witnesses on the document in such case what will be the remedy ? does Correction deed will work ?Document is registered in Maharashtra state
