My colleague is working for 3 yrs. as a teacher in a govt. school under delhi administration.recently her file was sent to district office for her confirmation.
she got a reply "no enquiry is pending against the official"
now another file will be sent again which will include her ACRs,work conduct etc. for confirmation,so that she becomes permanent.
there are several lapses in this school's administration.it has no principal, but a vice-principal who also acts as DEO.she's on extension.
recently there was some lapse by the school and vice principal is trying to put entire blame on my friend and threatening to give her a memo.
i want to know:
1. if my colleague gives a solid, logical reply in memo which highlights the lapses and malfunctioning of school because of which this mistake happened, will that memo stand nullified or cancelled?or can it still be added in her service book or for taking any action against in future?
2. the vice principal has a habit of not giving the receiving of letters which my friend gives her because she's afraid my colleague can use them as a proof of school's lapses.
so if she refuses to give a receiving of the memo's reply, how can my colleague have the proof that she had given a reply?

I have changed my signature to another style different from my previous one. Now I am thinking of legally changing to the new signature. I came to know that publishing the new signature in the govt gazette is the proper legal way to do this, which I am considering doing it.
I would like to do this so that I can make my signature as uniform across all important identity documents like Passport, PAN, Driving-license, Bank a/c and other such things. So I also contacted the respective authorities like Passport office, Tax dept, RTOs and banks regarding this change. All of them told me that the procedure is simple that I have to just submit the new signature in an application form. In turn I will get new such documents with the new signature.
My question is just this. Is it compulsory to publish the new signature in gazette to make it fully legal or just doing it individually for Passport, PAN and banks is enough to have complete legal validity for the new signature?
Opinions and suggestions from the experts here are welcome. Thank you

Hello Sir/Madam,
I have applied a RTI application under Bonaigarh(Odisha) Tehsil Office to get certified copy of an existing legal heir of my grandfather. But the PIO cum Tehsildar denied stating that the legal heir certificate of 1987 is considered Category "C" paper under Orissa Records Manual 1964 and thus destroyed after three years.
I wanted to now if legal heir certificate is a category "C"classified document as stated by the PIO cum Tehsildar.
Thanks,
Raj

I need a rental agreement from a college to run my food outlet inside their campus to apply for a tin number and hence a food licence. I am using a 50th stamp - Indian non judicial one... The representing authority from the college has signed and when I ask him for a college seal he refuses saying a seal is not needed.. Can someone put a light on how this thing works..
Need it to be done asap

I started a small food outlet last year for a little investment and now run multiple of them comfortably. My business secrets are mainly my supply chain, my vendors and a few of them which anyone can learn if they work in my company. Now recently a friend of mine approached me to partner up with him to start a new one similar to me but with a name of his choice. He is ready to offer me upto 40 % in his startup. Expecting me to bring in my experience into the business that i have learnt the hard way in this one year. If not for me i am very sure he would figure out someway to enter into this .
1. What do i do ?
2.is there any legal way i can ensure he puts me into every business he does ?
what if he learns the business secrets and turns back against me ? IsTHERE any legal way i can protect myself.
I tried to give him a franchisee but he isnt agreeing to that too.
If at all he uses what he learns from me into any other place can i make him pay up for that ?
Kindly Guide me what options do i have to stay protected here !

Back dated rent agreement as address proof for passport
Hello Respected Lawyers of the community,
I have a very confusing situation. I have lived in New Delhi for most part of my life and as a result all my documents (PAN Card, Voter ID) are from my previous address. Unfortunately, I never focused on getting a passport back then.
However, a year and a half ago my family moved to Kolkata and we have owned this house for over a year now. The house agreement is under my mother's name and we live with her. Due to lack of any proof as yet, I have not been able to update any ID proof with the new details.
And, now I am in need of applying for a passport as soon as possible.
The only thing keeping me from it is the address proof.
Is it possible to get a back dated rent agreement to work as an address proof for passport? What are some other options?
I do not have a bank account with any nationalized bank and opening one right now would need me to wait for 6 months before i can use that account statement as address proof.
Please help as soon as possible.
Thank you all in aniticipation.
