My uncle gifted land to his sister i.e., my mother in 1989 (written on Rs.50/- stamp paper in 1989). Actually the land belongs to Govt & provided to my uncle under BPL land scheme (D form Patta). He died. Till now we didn't get the position of land as the neighbouring land owner (he also got the land in the same way) is objecting us to build house there. He is a local party leader & wat ever we tried is of no use. the land is still in the name of my uncle & he died. wat to do to get position?

Because of the difficulty in formatting text on eStamp Paper, is it permissible to enclose affidavit typed on a plain paper with the blank eStamp paper. If so, is anything is to be mentioned on the eStamp Paper and/or on the paper on which the affidavit is typed ?

Hello,
I am onwer of flat for resale, recently a buyer has asked zerox copy of flat/property document for verification from his advocate, so far he has not retuned the same.
My query is that can anybody misuse the same? how to prevent the same?

I would like to know whether an amendment to Partnership be called a Codicil. For that matter any Supplementary Deed or Amendment Deed be called a Codicil in general.

Hi,
I had changed my name from Gayathri SR to Sruthi R vide affidavit and submitted newspaper advertisements for the same. I live in Bangalore. Since Karnataka government doesn't publish name change for non government employees, does these documents suffice for applying name change in PAN Card. I had applied for Name change in Passport, but they are asking address proof in new name. As my name is not updated in any of the Id proof's I dont have address proof in new name. Kindly help on this.

Hi, need your opinion. We had auctioned the tolls on our one road stretch for one year 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 to contractor X. X had given us bank guarantee as security. Then we extended the contract and according X extended the bank guarantee till November 2014.
Now in November 2014, we again auctioned tolls (securitize) on same road stretch for one year December 2014 to November 2015. The contractor who won the bid is same X. Now he is saying that he will extend the earlier bank guarantee only. Is it valid? In case in future if we have to evoke the Bank Guarantee will the bank honour it. The Bank is ready to write that it is extension of 2013 bank guarantee and the work name is securitization. Won’t we require new bank guarantee as the contract is new.

In a suit before the court, one of the party denies his signatures on the document, whereas the party has actually signed. Signatures has not been sent for any SFL test. Will the statement of denying party will be accepted by the court?

MY NAME IN SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE WAS JAGRUTI PREMCHAND LALAN, AND THAT WAS BEFORE MARRIAGE. AND AFTER MARRIAGE I CHANGED MY NAME TO JAGRUTI VADILAL VISARIYA, AND I WANT THE SAME NAME IN MY PASSPORT ALSO. THE PASSPORT 9OFFICE TOLD ME TO APPLY FOR ANNEXURE-E, SO DO I NEED TO GIVE ADDVERTISEMENT IN NEWSPAPERS ALSO.?

Hi,
My name is anuj. I am going to apply for a fresh passport.Before high school my name was ANU but in high school board examination I filled that ANUJ and from that onwards , I am known as ANUJ. That means, in every document like Pan Card, Driving License the name is ANUJ.
My Question is that while applying passport should i select yes in the option "Has you ever been with different name?"

I would like to laminate by very old property papers as it is being torn & Fard with passing of time. I would like to know if it is legal laminating registered property documents for safety & practically if need arises if the same is valid for home loan or presenting before govt department or in court of law.
