Respected Experts, Can an Individual Person, a single parent Adope a child of an age gap of 15 years difference between them. if yes then under which law and what is the process for the adoption?
This discussion explores the possibility of a single parent adopting a child with a 15-year age gap. While the Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act requires a 21-year difference if the parent and child are of different sexes, general adoption laws typically stipulate that the adoptive child must be under 15 years old. More specific details about the individual's circumstances are needed to provide a definitive answer.

In case of a Hindu when there is difference in the sex of the adoptive parent and the adoptive child, there must be 21 years’ age difference, as per Hindu Adoption & Maintenance Act.
