My fathrs brothers (uncle un married)made a registered will in favour of me,the properties are ancestral,i am banglorean karnataka,
1)is it compulsory to probate will?

It is believed that deceased owner was Hindu.

First of all show all properly related documents; mutation record, link documents to a very able counsel specializing in revenue matters to ascertain the property is ancestral, Copacenary Hindu Property.

Thereafter your counsel can also opine if the WILL is invalid.

If WILL is valid, act upon it.
