Unmarried women employee has been confined by parents

A unmarried women employee aged around 24years has been confined by their parents since 15 days and planning to perform marriage against her will.when her colleague approached police they are not entertaining the issue.please suggest proper remedy.

The said person or any of her relative/friend can lodge complaint of criminal complaint, force etc in local police so she can be rescued by police and sent the girl to a rescue centre.

Dear Mr.Subramanyam,

The Detainee or any body her behalf can inform by writing a letter to the Hon'ble Chief Justice about the illegal confinement. Then the Hon'ble High Court will consider the letter as a Writ Petition and will pass an appropriate Writ of Habeas Corpus.

What are the reason of confinement and how the friends know that the marriage is against her wishes? If so, she can refuse the marriage and can inform the police herself on telephone.
