Trustee

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 16 July 2020 This query is : Resolved
I have two questions:
1. Can a PIO be a trustee in Educational Institute trusts and become Chairman of Trust?
2. If an author of a trust becomes a member of the trust, does he loose the authorship?
Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) can serve as a trustee and Chairman for educational trusts. It also addresses whether an author of a trust forfeits their authorship if they become a member of the trust. The consensus suggests that an author can typically become a Managing Trustee and remain a permanent member for life.

Yes. Please specify of "PIO". As per me, usually, the author may become a Managing Trustee and an author is a permanent member of the trustee during his lifetime.
