Suit for possession decreed in 2017 and dismissed in appeal in 2018. It is a case between lessor and lessee who terminated the tenancy by issuing notice under section 106 T.P. Act. The lessor is entitled for mesne profit from the date of service of notice under section 106 T.P. Act or from the date of the suit finally dismissed.

You have to file execution application for recovery of possession and recovery of amount. You can recover the mesne profit as per judgement and decree. Consult with your advocate.

Generally court grant relief of mesne profit either from the date of termination of lease or from the date of filing of suit.

Mesne profits are awarded from the date of determination of lease as mentioned in your legal notice.
However, the Court must specify, insist upon mentioning the effective date.
