Succession

(Querist) 26 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

How it can be proved that Hindu Succession Amendment Act 2005 is wholly against the concept of coparcenery?

The proposition itself is absurd to the core. In fact the Hindu Succession Amendment Act, 2005 is expanding the scope of coparcenary to even the daughters born in the family. Therefore, to say that the HS Amendment Act, 2005 is a mockery to the say least.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 26 September 2011
I of the opposite hinking on this matter than you. A serious effort has been made to join coparcener by way of this Act whereas all brothers and sisters have got equal rights in the ancestral property. There is a need to mend our thinking. Respect duaghters of family.
