I have a sra flat in mumbai. The 10year lock in period is about to get over in 1month. The problem is that thr builder has changed our surname (FIRST name Correct) on the maintenance bill and share certificate. But our surname on the agreement is proper. Please tell me what should I do now and how I should get the name corrected.

request builder to rectify surname in share certificate / maintenance bill . furnish copy of agreement wherein your name was correctly spelled out . also furnish your PAN card details which would show your correct name

You should contact the builder for necessary rectification.

Serve a legal notice and then file a consumer complaint.
