Dear Madam/Sir, My coach had got the sports association registered under Companies Act but one of the members secretly got in registered under Trust Act as well and now has approached the Ministry of Youth Affairs for the recognition of the said sport. What can be done in such a scenario?
A sports association has been registered under both the Companies Act and the Trusts Act by different individuals. This situation has led to one member seeking recognition from the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The advice suggests that a company and a trust are distinct entities and recommends waiting for the Ministry's decision before taking further action, as they will ultimately decide the matter.
In my opinion, there will no problem. You cannot pose company and trust as one single entity.

Having approached the Ministry, let them decide the matter at their discretion.

Sports Association can be registered under the Companies Act, Registration of Societies Act, and Trusts Act. So consult the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

The decision taken by the authorities concerned is still awaited as per your post. You may wait until then to represent the matter if the decision has aggrieved you in any manner.
