Society membership letter

I Purchased Resale flat before Society Formation and Builder also given me possession letter Since when I purchased flat, Construction work of building remaining So after completion of Building work Builder given Possession letter in my name with NOC in it.

At time of Society handover, Mistakenly Builder Given last Owner name of my FLAT to Society.

So Society Letter in in name of Last Owner.When I go to Society Chairman regarding this issue,he told to give society transfer charges for Change of name on Society Letter.

But My Que is I purchased flat before Society Formed and Builder also Given me possession letter in my Name. So why i should give them Transfer Charges.

Please help me Legal Steps regarding it.

you are not liable to pay transfer to society if flat purchased by you before formation of society . builder must have recovered transfer charges from you . the share certificate has to be issued in your name .

Yes I am completely agree with u Sir!

But Society Chairman Denied to give it in my name without Transfer Charges So what next step I take for that.
