I have asked for an information regarding discrepancy of marks in promotion interview from GM of the Bank.But he has sent it to the CPIO of the Branch. As the Branch was not dealing with the matter,they may refuse to give answer.What is the solution? The matter was being dealth with by GM

I was a candidate in the promotion exam. The promotion is given on the basis of marks in AARF in last 4 years,Interview mark and review marks given by GM. In one case, the AARF marks of last 4 years appear to have been altered. The marks are dealt with by AGM(HR) attached to GM.So I had sought information from GM.But as he is the appellate authority,the query has been directed to the Branch. As the Branch does not deal with the issue, they may not be able to answer. What is the solution?

You have misdirected your application. You admit that you have filed it before the appellate authority. when you know who is appellate authority, you may also know the PIO. visit the bank's website. they would have published the details of PIO etc.

But the information is only available in the office of GM. They have re-directed the application to PIO-DGM of a Branch. But can he answer a question which is not related to his office?
