SANJAY GUPTA (Expert) 19 December 2010
No, in court of sessions and high court as you have to file appeal against d acquittal as the order of acquittal is final order.
s.subramanian (Expert) 19 December 2010
It is not Revision but only an appeal lies against the acquittal.
Kirti Kar Tripathi (Expert) 19 December 2010
no, revision will lie, only appeal will lie.
N.K.Assumi (Expert) 19 December 2010
I am of the view that the words "Sentence" or "Order" are distinct and the word "finding" includes a conviction or acquittal and Revision lies against acquittal if such acquittal causes failure of justice.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 19 December 2010
Appeal against acquittal lies with the HC only see 378 cr.p.c..
Arun Kumar Bhagat (Expert) 19 December 2010
Under Section 372 Cr.P.C (amended in 2010) you have to file appeal against acquittal before Sessions Court.
Guest (Expert) 19 December 2010
I agree with my brother Mr.Arunagiri. S.378 Cr.P.C. lays down clear procedure. Only Appeal lies.

The kerla high court in the case of Chithrangathan vs Seema on 4/9/2007 I (2008) DMC 365, the Punjab and Haryana Higi court in Yogesh Gupta - - - - - - - Petitioner
Versus
Darshan Kumar Khanna - - - - - - - Respondent
and the Delhi High court holding where there is a provisions for appeal and the party who should have appealed if he prefers the revision the embargo contained in section 401(4) forbids the maintainability of the revisions. Hence revision against acquittal is not allowable and if the aggrieved party is the informant there is scope for revision
