Resignation notice or withdrawal notice of a member

Dear Learned Experts

In a society, a treasurer would like to discontinue from society. He wanted to give a one-month notice dated 01-12-2022 as the AGM is scheduled for 31-12-2022. Also, his term comes to an end by the conclusion of the AGM.

Since his term is going to end on 31-12-2022 automatically, is it correct to mention a resignation notice or withdrawal notice?

Is it required to submit his resignation letter also though his term is going to end?

Please suggest.

Thank you for your reply, sir, the AGBM is willing to accept his request and relieve him and also will elect new executive members. My query is whether the dance notice should be mentioned as a resignation notice or notice of withdrawal from the membership.

In the Housing Society, an Executing member will continue as an ordinary member, the Executive Body may accept his resignation for the post of EC member and it should be told presented in AGM and got it approved.

Sir,

Before resigning from the governing body, he is supposed to give an advance notice to the governing body. So while giving the notice, should the member mention in the advance notice as RESIGNATION NOTICE or WITHDRAWAL NOTICE from membership.

Resignation Letter (not notice) shall be considered and accepted / rejected by Managing Committee as the Treasurer is elected as a member of the committee by GBM, which is required to inform in ensuing AGM.
