Regarding sale deed

(Querist) 18 January 2014 This query is : Resolved
I have purchased a site in 2001 having 4 survey numbers one survey number is repeated twice which is a typo error actually all the numbers should be in sequence.Since I want to sell that land now i noticed the issue. So I verified records of revenue it is correctly entered in a sequence. So can I sell that land without any future problems
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 18 January 2014
There wont be any problem. When the parent documents, boundaries and other relevant documents identifies the exact property, you can sell the property.

Though the area, boundaries and all other particulars are correct, better get the rectification deed registered, if the original seller agrees to it.

Thanks experts for the prompt response.I have small confusion by looking at sale deed they say
survey number Area
1. x/yP 1.1A
2. x/yp 2 A

x and y are numbers and not p in both 1 and 2 x and y are same
Sir what does p indicate and is this a problem.
