Bail money is held by the court until the court case is resolved or the individual fails to appear. In the first case the money is returned to the individual who paid it. In the last case the money is forfeited and is distributed according to regulation usually to law enforcement and/or the courts.

Hello,

You can get the cash surety amount paid in court for accused after final disposal of the case. You have to apply to court for refund of cash surety where the case was pending.

Since the case is stated to have been disposed the Court must have directed to return surety deposit, accordingly final order / judgment has to be perused before forming an opinion to oblige.
LRs of deceased surety has to apply for release of surety deposit through the contesting lawyer or some other local lawyer.
However, the deposit can not be in cash but some property document, recheck.

I am not clear with the query. However releasing of the surety may be made upon a seperate application.
