Recovering money lent to a person

I had lent around Rs.1 lakh to a person on oral promise to return it but now he is not repaying it back. I have proofs of transactions. Can i get my money back? Pls put your valuable comments.

If you can prove him debtor then after serving a notice of demand file a suit of recovery.

Suit for recovery without any written document shall not be advisable from my side.

You should lodge a police complaint against such person alleging fraud played by him against you. This is the shortest and perfect means to recover even more than the deposited.
