bank forwards detailed statement of account . make inquires with the bank branch wherein you have account . on payment of charges they will give the information .

On contacting the Bank, the bank would give photocopy of the cheques, in case of existence of some criminal act lodge FIR.

The cheque Book must be in the custody of your friend and the cheque could be taken out by some known person only. If the drawer's signature on the cheques are forged, Bank is also liable for wrongful payment.
