query about name changing

Dear All Seniors., pls help me out from the name change condition.

I recently married and want to change my wife name. She has studied from CBSE/NIOS boards till Senior Secondary.

What should i do ? n where shuld i go for this? N whats documents to be required for this ?

Simple affidavit verified by notary of such description, is sufficient for this purpose when ever it is required.

register your marriage and it would help in further applications where ever reqd and also can be produced as a link to old name and documents

1.Make sure your wifes new name is on your marriage certificate.
2. Get a new driver's license and Social Security card with your wifes new name. The Department of Motor Vehicles and the Social Security Administration will probably want to see your marriage certificate as proof of your new name.
3. Update your records and produce it any time when the require.

you need to change the name in the gazette regarding the name transfer. need to publish the same in newspaper also

Gazette notification on change of the name is necessary. In Maharashtra there is a prescribed form of applicaiton to be given to the Govt press for the purpose.
