Purchase of adivasi land

i have come to know through some source that adivasi land could not be purchased but could be taken on lease for 99 years. How far is it true. pl. help. I am looking forward for taking a piece of land for myself

It can be taken on lease,and can be purchased for industrial purpose.after the permission of DC

Some State bar the lease out the Adivasi(ST) Land. You may form trust and can purchase and get lease land with Government Authority permission and payment in Bank Demand Draft and live with Adivasi and uplift them
