1st tell me wht do u mean by ancestral property, is it the property which u r father has acquired from his forfathers or he has bought it himself.

the sister has got a good case.

after the amendment of the Hidnu Succession Act 2005, she is entitle to share.

No matter she got married in the year 1965.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 02 August 2009
Sister will get her share, because after the amendment to hindu succession act she is coparcener, who has got right by birth.
