a wife compromised twice 498a, once in a metro court & withdrawn a DV in recent past years. This year lost her gold ornaments (which were earlier bought by husband ), but starting blaming husband that theft has happened by husband for harassing her.Now insisting husband to buy fresh golden ornaments.
Though husband ready to buy out of pressure , but what way husband gets protection from such blames, if in case she either looses (God forbid) intentionally or un - intentionally in future?
Experts kind advise please.

1. This is internal family issue. It is unto the husband to buy new ornaments. This requires tactful handling of the situation.
2. Put the new ornaments in bank locker with you being named as the nominee. This should preempt theft of the ornaments.

Yes, either keep those in her custody or in bank locker.
