Petition

(Querist) 07 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
I want TO file petition /application as party in person ,should the affidavit be signed by advocate or is it enough if i sign the affidavit .
prabhakar singh (Expert) 07 July 2013
If oath commissioner knows you personally then it is enough you signed it.

In case he does not, you need a person(not advocate as of necessity)to sign your affidavit as identifier of your personality
whose personality is personally known to oath commissioner .

Or you should possess your ID CARD on basis whereof oath commissioner can verify you.File the copy of same ID in court also or get a copy attached with affidavit.

You may sign and prove your identity during attestation by the Oath Commissioner if needed.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 07 July 2013
