Hello Can a personal representative of an estate with letters of administration sell the estate property in their personal capacity?
A personal representative, such as an executor or administrator, can indeed sell estate property. This authority is granted by the letters of administration. However, it's crucial they act transparently and do not mislead the beneficiaries of the estate during the sale process.
