Although, according to the conditions of the scheme 10 months can be treated as one year for the purpose of arriving at qualifying service of 10 years and attaining the age of 58 years for the purpose of entitlement of eps, but there are several other factors that have to be taken in to account for judging the entitlement of pension.

So, you are advised to consult some expert in person with all details of your service, as it is hard to believe that only 9 yrs 10 months service has been rendered up to the age of 58 yers.
