Hello Sir,
I own a patta land with chitta everything in my name. I have also reconfirmed and got a new-reapplied patta last week from the VO but today the same VO is saying that my land isnt not mine anymore and I cant sell since the old owner has won the legal case. EC is also in my name. I asked how did you gave me the patta etc, he said it will always be your name through out your life. If judgement is in his favour, how did they give me the patta and EC for so many years had been with no problems? I have even the CHitta and Adangal in my name.
IF there such chance that I have a patta and land is someone's? Wont I be intimated that I am losing the land? I can see many lost their land but not mine , now they are saying i also lost despite of having the PATTA.
I live in chennai,
Tks

Dear Robinson,
First confirm whether anybody has got a Court verdict in his favour? Get a copy of the court verdict. Go through it, consult a local lawyer and then take things forward.
There is no point in questioning how the Patta was given etc., etc., here. It will not serve your purpose, as you have to take action after confirming about the Court verdict.

Thanks Mr. Anirudh,
Ok will try to get but wonder if how. But wont the judgement or the litigation be in EC? IF anyone has won a verdict, dont they have to register the land in their name?

You may consult a local advocate and get his opinion to your query based on the court verdict on your property because just getting a patta or chitta may not confer title on the holder.

Tks Mr. Kalaiselvan. Just wondering why they havent cancelled my Patta and not updated with Registrar office as well. Anyway I am trying to get the court verdict and hopefully see to accept it or fight it out.
Thanks

Mr. Robinson Victor, you should understand one thing very clearly that getting a Patta or Chitta on one's name by greasing the palms of the authority in this corrupt society is as easy as anything but when it comes to the legal issue, only the title document will speak about the proprietary of the property, therefore the court verdict confirming the ownership of the property will be legal and binding. Again the encumbrances are manually created, so do not count upon all these issues to claim ownership of the property, instead, consult a lawyer and fight it out legally claiming your rights on the basis of the documentary evidences in your possession.
