Pagadi and property tax

Hello every1,

First I would like to thank you all for such wonderful forum.

My question is that, we are living in Pagadi system room. Our land lord is not taking rent since 4 yrs.
Can we pay property tax in muncipal office?
WIll it be helpful.
Also please guide how we can proceed further in this. Because this land lord trying to evacuate all tenanats.

if landlord is not taking rent you should have moved court and deposited rent in court . what were you doing for 4 years?

landlord is trying to build case for evacuation on grounds on non payment of rent . dont let him succeed .

property tax bill must be in name of landlord .? recipt if any will be in name of landlord if you pay .

You are advised to go to rent controller and offer rent for last 36 months as your landlord has refused to accept despite of your repeated efforts.
