Online ipl betting

hello to all wonderful members of the lawyersclubindia,

I have a query regarding online betting from India with uk based websites on IPL matches. Is it legal to bet from India with those sites. When you are not using your local funds from any Indian bank. I mean not depositing funds which you have with Indian banks just using funds available with other money managers like moneybookers or alertpay which are legally earned through online data work to deposit to those site and withdrawing the winnings to your local bank from those money managers.

And what are the states that allow online betting or any kinda of betting if any

Do not forget any act punishable in India is an offence even if the same is done by an Indian in a foreign country.

Betting of this nature is prohibited in India and hence even if you do it in some other country irrespective of source of your fund, it is an offence.
So better stay away from it.

This is totally illegal in India even though no Indian fund is involved in this matter. such activity legally cannot be done from India.
