One eye driving license

Dear Team,

Greetings of the day!!!

My name is navneet jakhmola. I am blind from my left eye. However, my right eye is 6/6 but whenever, i am trying to apply for driving licence.

The RTO authority refused to me to apply for driving licence.

It is 3rd attempts but seem that this it will also go into the vain
Are we not authorizes to apply for driving licence. It is not our fault. So waht, we do not have one eye. I am good at to ride the bike.

I firmly believed there is law which have drawn for us.

Looking forward reply with positive response.

Contact the eye doctor about the possibility.If positice opinion is given, the legal recourse could be made.

AIIMS Experts had furnished an Report and had Opined that the Persons with one Eye may be considered for grant of Licence for Non Commercial Cars and Motor Cycles.

As per the Guide Lines prescribed by AIIMS Experts the applicant must obtain a Certificate from a Govt Hospital Opthalmology Department that the Visual acquity in the Eye is 6/12 or more and horizontal visual field should be 120ba or more.

In 2017 it self the Central Govt had notified the State Govts that they should issue the Driving Licence to the people with Monocular Vision ( single eyed ) subject to the fulfillment of Medical and Fitness Conditions as recommended by AIIMS

A one-eyed person may apply for the grant of driving license in Form prescribe under Sec.8(3) of Motor Vehicle Act,1988, along with a medical certificate granted a driving license.
