Name correction in document

Dear Experts

A residential plot purchased in my mother name in the year 2006 through a power of attorney needs some correction in the name of purchaser. All are alive. What is the procedure to correct the name in Tamilnadu?

A rectification deed shall be executed by the vendors rectifying the name and get it be registered. If the rectification is in the Surname it attracts stamp as is original otherwise, it costs less.

Property purchase on POA do not transfer title in the name of purchaser, moreover, the POA is valid during the life time of executor, no need for any rectification. Get the property document executed by the grantor of POA (seller)through a registered Sale Deed.
