Respected Sir
My relative and her husband was engaged in a business. The shop is now in the name of her husband.Hence he is looking after the shop and all the income from the shop is taken by him.
The couples are divorced recently.
The machines in the shop was bought by the lady with her money and all the machines are in her name.
But all the bills are with him.
Is there anyway so that she can obtain those items which are owned by her which is at his shop.
Kindly do answer.

Sorry, it is now very difficult to to prove her ownership. If the wife is not earning she can claim for maintenance from her ex-husband.

you have stated that money for purchase of machines was paid by ex wife . all bills are in her name . she is the owner of said machines . she should issue legal notice to her ex husband asking him to return said machines or pay market price of said machines

If her husband is reluctant to return the machines, she may lodge a complaint with the local police for initiating legal action to direct him to return the same or to register FIR for the purpose. She can always obtain duplicate bills since she only purchased the machines, so she knows from where she can get the bills.
