Hello,

Have been married for the last 3 years. My wife and I are applying for MC divorce. I heard that you could get divorce within 6 months. Please advice if its correct.

6 months is mandatory waiting period . it may take around a year to get a divorce

You can move the second motion after 6 months after the first motion. The court will grant the decree.

MCD requires only a period of 6 months.
