Mean of decretal amount

(Querist) 14 January 2014 This query is : Resolved 
appeal court pronounced order to pay entire decretal amount to subordinate court and half of the same will be paid to plaintiff. there are about five lacs principal and three lacs interest, weather interest will be include in decretal amount or not. in my opinion decretal amount will be principal plus interest. stamp duty is paid upon only principal but order is given for entire decretal amount.

decreetal amount is the whole amount including the interest and stamp duty is to be calculated on this.
