Marriage certificate

Sir,
My uncle a resident of borivali, mumbai got married 22 years ago but have not registered the marriage so far. As of now he has applied for visa to Europe and asked to submit Marriage certificate.
please suggest wheather it is possible to get marriage certificate at this stage and what is the procedure to obtain it.

Yes, he can register marriage even now. Ask him to contact a nearby marriage registrar.

he can register marriage now . he must have marriage invitation card , certificate of pandit who performed marriage . fill in marriage registration form . you would need your residence proof and identity proof . in addition you need 2 witness es with their identity proof
