dear all,
my friend and his cousin daughter both love each other and want to marry. Is it legal or not?
if not legal than waht happen to them if they marry against law?

Illegal unless the custom prevalent in your community allows that.

maternal aunty's daughter will come under prohibited relationship as per hindu marriage act. so it is void abinitio.

It comes under prohibited relationship. So marriage is illegal.

However, there are couples who obtain Visa on such marriages, and residing in UK for 25 years. !! Otherwise the Boy or girl cannot get British Visa. I know them personally.

Once married, No Legal actions taken against such couple, and matter end there.

In my perivious queries u said that there marriage is illegal . but what if they both want to marry each other, and what happen to them if they marry each other against law?
