dont betray your friend trust . he has in your time of need given you rs 5 lakhs that too in cash .

request himo wait for some time and repay in installments .

for sake of money do not lose your friend
R.K Nanda (Expert) 20 March 2012
Take time from ur friend and pay in EMI.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 20 March 2012
This is not the appropriate reply on your part that I have no money to re-pay. You should try to repay in easy installments and should take this matter as urgent otherwise your friend can initiate criminal action against you.

Mr.Mutukumar on prima faice your intetion is malafide and cheating including but not limited farud...

however it shows your criminal intetion not to settle your firends hard earn money..how thare you r asking ideas to motivate further criminal offences...

i request members not give him any criminal ideas..

Better tahn the late meet your firend and request him for more time..inseated to asking criminal iedas..

Solution lies only in agreeing of your friend to receive the payment in easy installments or mortgaging with him some gold or property in lieu of the loan.

Muthukumar,

After seeing the replies of my esteemed colleagues,I feel I have no words left with me.Anyway you have cheated your friend by not repaying his liability. What your friend intends to do is correct.Don't forget the proverb,A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 21 March 2012
Partly sell your property & compromise with whatever you can pay.

Legally speaking, there is nothing to worry, but morally, you must not harm your friend, who paid u in cash, after all you are businessman. so pay with business interest.

As such, ur friend cannot harm you.

Of course, very good advice on the part of Shri Shroff. Your goodwill and credibility lies only in your honesty and loyalty with your friend, not with th label as a betrayer. Moreover, once you are taken to police station, you will also earn a blot for life, as a culprit.
