due to contineius torturing of my in laws i filed 498 a in police station. than filed maintanence cliam and dv. we are muslim. my husband has not told talaq any time. but my in laws claim that he told it and i am divorced. so i am not entitled for any rights. they also threaten me by telling that they will opt for 2nd marrige as muslim law permits 4 wife. every now and than they send message through third party that they will now not divorce me and my age will be lost and they will marry their son for second time. openly.
they also say that they will not pay me single penny and will harass me till sc.
i filed case. i want to know how much time it will take to get it resolved. is it advisible to file RCR so that i get chance to live with him.??
really confused??? please guide me...

Dear Querist
first of all think about your decision, what do you want?
if you want to live with him then settle the matter amicably with the help of mediator, counselor, relatives or friends, if not possible then fight the cases on merit.
being Muslim your husband has right to performed 4 marriage but you are entitled to live as per status of your husband and in D.V. you can get the protection, residence, maintenance & compensation.
there is no time limit for fighting the cases in courts.

as on date you are not divorced . even after divorce you are entitled to claim maintenance from your husband . as muslim your husband can remarry during subsistence of earlier marriage . continue cases filed by you . your husband will compromise

If no possibility of amicable settlement exist, no other alternate left but to proceed with the case. It may take time. Prey court to order of interim maintenance .

The experts have advised well. If you have filed all types of cases against your husband, what else relief you expect from him that you have posted this query here? You may concentrate the cases you have filed ignoring their threats.
