In case other details tally, {Area& Location, Sq mtr & address, Previous owner. Property Tax etc} it becomes a typographical mistake, without any malfide intention to deceive anybody.
Issue notice to owner of khata no. 196, that you regret, this khata no. is entered by mistake. Inform concerned authority, and if they insist, rectify the mistake.
It will safeguard you.
You may file an Affidavit to the effect.

There is no matter of insistence of authorities rather it is your necessity to get it rectified. already 11 years have elapsed and after some more time, situation may not remain easy for you. You personally meet to the seller and request him to get corrected this error in the office of registrar by way of a Rectification Deed to be duly registered. This shall supplement the earlier registered sale-deed.

Execution of rectification deed is required in your case.

you can make rectification in the same deed., apart from the survey number the boundaries will identify your land., so if there is any problem arise mean you can face it.,
