Jurisdiction of court

(Querist) 27 July 2013 This query is : Resolved 
For getting succession order for property situated in Mumbai.

Do i have to file petition at Bombay High court or in session court situated in mumbai

Please note that the property mentioned above is an MHADA house.

File your petition in lower court

district judge have the jurisdiction as per indian succession act

File case with the District judge.

Succession Certificate is issued even by lower courts in many States so enqire locally.
