Is there difference in deputed term!

(Querist) 06 November 2016 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,
May I know
* This there difference in term deputed and deputation ?
Guest (Expert) 06 November 2016
Not a legal problem.

However, if there is any such problem, background of the case is necessary to be discussed, based on which some purposeful opinion can be made.

Otherwise, if you want to know only academic difference, 'deputed' is a past tense of the verb 'depute' and 'deputation' is a noun on that aspect.

Dear Sir,
The problem is i had being deputed in other division of same departmental group at same station(Same City) but located in other area.
* I requested them to grant me deputation allowance as i am eligible.
*They said it is with in same department and your letter for deputation is termed deputed. so i am not eligible.
Is it so..?
Kindly guide Me.

Whatever may be their own interpretation, it is not a case of deputation, but a transfer. Moreover, no deputation with deputation allowance is permissible within the same department, unless the rules of recruitment specifically provides so. You may better check the recruitment rules.

Reply to your query is refer your service rules.
N M Prasad (Querist) 08 November 2016
My letter clearly states as deputed for one year.
My service rules are of government of india secretarial employees.
Guest (Expert) 08 November 2016
No chance. For your satisfaction, you may better read chapter on Deputation (Duty) Allowance in Fundamental Rules. The Secretarial people are supposed to know the provisions of FR&SR, as are provided training in service rules.

Can be benefited from the advice from expert P. S. DHINGRA.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 09 November 2016
Deputation and transfer all service conditions.

Relate with service rules.

If the rules provide for benefit sought by you, then you can submit for it.

In any case your authority must have replied to your submissions.
