Is a girl half owner of property of husband after marriage ?

i have heard that a girl automatically becomes half owner of the property of the husband,is it right?
What are pre-nuptial agreements ?
Are they valid in India ?

whatever you have heard is wrong. Girl wont become the half owner of the proper of the husband after the marriage.
As per Hindu Law a wife cannot seek any share during the life time of her husband, only after the death of the husband she will get right in the properties of husband, but if she has child she can claim her share in the property thru., the child.
After the death of her husband she will be the class I legal heir of the deceased husband.

I agree with above. Only after death of husband can a girl claim property and she is class I heir of the husband for claiming property.

She has to be careful if the Husband has written a Will before breathing his last ?
Husband's Will could make all the difference in favour / against Wife !
