i have case on me under section 138 ni act. Now can i go for IP ? what happens if i take ip now?

no effect on case.Because it is criminal nature case

Please contest the case , it is not defficult to win a NI 138 case since there are no of lapses on the part of complainant.

If the Court adjudged you as insolvent there will be certain disqualification of your rights, as such it is better to contest the case. The rest has been stated by Pritamsaini and Sashikumar, regarding the two distinct proceedings that is PIA and 138 NIA.
