Harassment by neighbours

My neighbor install window a.c infront of my window .I file a complaint in police station BT they said this is not police matter .because he install in his premises.they can't do any thing what should I do

Facts posted suggest no cause of action. If at all there is a cause of the action on account of injury(in the judicial sense), if any inflicted, the remedy needs to pursued in a civil Court.

This is a civil wrong. Please consider to serve your neighbour a legal notice stating your concern. If it is not solved, you need to sue him in civil court and seek injunction.
