Guideline to follow holidays

Dear Sir

Is there any rule/act/guideline to follow national/state holiday for a private limited company situated in west bengal and registered under shops and establishment act and companies act as well

Please suggest your advice

Generally NI Act is followed to fix holidays in private companies in WB.

National Holidays Act

Republic of India is not lawless.

Private companies are within the ambit of law of the land.

Employer can formulate its policies superior to the provisions in enactments applicable to it but not inferior.

Dear Experts
As per your advice i have searched for "West Bengal Shops and Commercial Establishments Act" but the official website of Bengal govt. www.wb.gov.in is not having the same so there is an another link available for the same.

After reading the act i am still unable to know how many holidays are mandatory to follow.
Please suggest.

Better enquire from the Registrar of Shops & Establishments from where the Company / firm was registered in your State itself;
